If it is not for replacement, a 3/8-inch drive bit is required to drill the installation hole.

You can insert the Front T-Handle and adjust the back D handle to the thickness of your door using the Allen wrench. The D handle will latch onto the door frame when you twist the front T handle. Simply turn it 90 degrees clockwise to open the door, and then secure the T-handle with the 2 Phillips head screws. The 4½" Stem lock is suitable for storage shed doors up to 3½ inches thick. This heavy-duty metal lock kit has a Black Powder Coated Finish. The Back D-handle is adjustable for doors of varying thickness using the Allen wrench. The Lock Set includes the Front T-Handle, Back D Handle, 2 Phillips head screws, and an Allen wrench.
